Pete Antico is an actor, stunt coordinator, producer, writer and director who portrayed Barnes during Season 1 of 24.

Biography and career[]

Pete Antico was born in New York City. He attended California Lutheran University. During his time in college, he was a baseball player and a pole-vaulter on the track team. Later, he attended UCLA’s Screenwriting program and studied acting with Allan Rich, as well as improvisation at The Groundling Theater.

Antico started his career as a stunt performer working on Steven Spielberg's 1941. After that, he has worked on numerous films and TV shows, both as an actor and a stunt performer. Antico has worked as a stunt double for actors like Sylvester Stallone, Robert De Niro, and Antonio Sabato, Jr. Aside from that, he has also worked as a director and writer.

Antico suffers from Tourette's Syndrome, a neurological disorder characterized by sudden involuntary movements and repeated vocalizations called tics.

In 2017, Antico ran for president of the SAG-AFTRA, a labor union that represents 160,000 entertainment professionals.[1] Esai Morales was also a candidate for the position, but both were defeated by Gabrielle Carteris.[2]
