Randy Goodwin (born December 24, 1967; age 56) is an actor who portrayed a security guard named Newman during Season 1 of 24.
Biography and career
Randy Goodwin was born in Omaha, Nebraska as Ivan Jerome Goodwin. He has four brothers. Goodwin went to school to study architecture, but later decided to pursue a career in acting.
Goodwin began his professional acting career in 1996, appearing in an episode of Secret Service Guy. After that, he got a recurring role in the show Fast Track (with Douglas O'Keeffe). He has also had recurring roles on Abby, Linc's, Girlfriends, and more recently on The Vampire Diaries.
