Randy Thompson (born September 25, 1954; age 69) is an actor who portrayed the bomb squad technician Roger Sommers in Season 3 of 24. His acting career has primarily consisted of appearances in television serials.

Biography and career

Randy Thompson was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He began his acting career in 1990 when he appeared on the film Stages. After that, he has appeared in films like Desperate Measures (with Neal Matarazzo), Doppelgänger, and Edge of Honor.

However, Thompson is more known for his roles on numerous TV shows. Through his more than 20 years of experience, he has appeared in shows like Nowhere Man, L.A. Firefighters (with Carmen Argenziano), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (with Nick Chinlund), The West Wing, The Practice (with Bill Smitrovich and Currie Graham), Criminal Minds (with Rhys Coiro), and Mad Men (with Ray Wise).
