The Regional Division Director is an agent sent from Division to oversee CTU. Though not officially part of CTU, the director does have authority over the Special Agent in Charge, only outranked by orders from District or the White House.

	A friend of Jack's during and before the events of Day 1. Was killed by agents of Ira Gaines when retrieving a key card from Scott Baylor.
	Ryan Chappelle	Hell Gate, Days 1, 2 and 3	Deceased
	Re-organized CTU following the death of Richard Walsh by taking authority and assigning new agents George Mason and Alberta Green. Was ultimately killed during Day 3 when Stephen Saunders demanded his execution.
	Brad Hammond	Days 2 and 3	Alive
	Sent agents to CTU when he became suspicious of Ryan Chappelle's disappearance (which was a result of Tony Almeida's plan). Took over CTU as Regional Director following Chappelle's death in Day 3.
	Bill Buchanan	Days 4, 5 and 6	Alive
	Arrived at CTU to organize the exchange between Behrooz Araz and Jack Bauer. When Michelle Dessler quit, he took command as Special Agent in Charge.
