Agents Craig Erwich and Rick were assigned to escort Jack Bauer and Audrey Raines from CTU Los Angeles to the Felsted Security building in Burbank. While guarding the exterior, Rick and Craig were both killed by hitmen sent by Henry Powell, who was trying to silence Audrey and destroy evidence of his identity. When Jack saw the corpses of both agents through a security camera, his suspicions of an attack were confirmed. He and Audrey were only able to escape with the help of Tony Almeida.
