Ronnie Gadula (born 1975) is a stunt performer and actor who played one of Youssou Dubaku's men during 24: Redemption.

Biography and career[]

Gadula is a stunt performer and actor from Upington, Northern Cape, in South Africa. He studied Acting at Act Cape Town Film Acting Academy. Through his career, Gadula worked in various American films.

In 2008, Gadula worked stunts in Roland Emmerich's 10,000 BC (with Marco Khan), Starship Troopers 3: Marauder, and The Scorpion King: Rise of a Warrior. After that, he worked on Dredd and Death Race 2. Gadula has also been credited as an actor on films like Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom and Shepherds and Butchers.

In 2015, Gadula retired from the film industry and started working at Emmanuel NDT Service, a company dedicated to testing of steel components in plants and factories.

Role on 24[]

Gadula appeared on 24: Redemption. His character was with Youssou when rounding up the boys playing football, and when James and Desmond tried to run he shot at them, killing James and wounding Desmond. He was admonished by Youssou for shooting at them, as the children were needed alive. Later he was with Youssou at Okavango School, but was shot and killed by Jack Bauer inside one of the buildings.
