Biography and career Edit

Ruben Pla developed an interest in acting while studying in college. In an interview with The Eerie Digest, Pla credits his father as his biggest influence. He completed a major in Theatre in college, and then studied at Stella Adler's Studio in New York. Pla also did workshops with director Elia Kazan.[1]

Pla started his professional acting career in 1985, playing a convict in the Hong Kong film The Illegal Immigrant. After that, he has appeared in films like Spanish Fly, The Silent Cross, The Fallen, Dead Air (with Navid Negahban), Big Ass Spider! (with Lombardo Boyar, Patrick Bauchau, and Ray Wise), and Dementia.

Aside of films, Pla has also appeared in TV shows like One Life to Live, The Agency (with Gil Bellows and Will Patton), Hannah Montana, Weeds, Criminal Minds (with Bruce Nozick), and Rizzoli & Isles (with François Chau).
