Sad Hill was a forlorn patch of lowlands located south of East New Orleans. The area was extremely impoverished, and was flooded by Hurricane Katrina. The residents evacuated and never returned.
Long Canal ran north-south through Sad Hill, and at a footbridge over the canal Raoul Garros was exchanged for one million dollars to Mylon Sears. (Storm Force)
