At about 10:28am, Sam and several other agents were briefed about an upcoming operation against the bio-terrorist Stephen Saunders. After Chase informed them about the planned ambush and staged exchange to be made by Tony Almeida of Jane Saunders for Michelle Dessler, he spoke to Kim Bauer and handed Sam some paperwork. Day 4 Edit
Sam was present at the CTU stakeout of The Mercerwood. After Mandy had been apprehended and revealed the location of Habib Marwan, the CTU teams prepared to move out. Agent Bernhart radioed Sam and asked for his twenty. ("6:00am-7:00am")
