Samuel Taylor Coleridge was a poet who wrote the line, "In Xanadu did Kublai Khan a stately pleasure-dome decree". Marion Clary quoted this while talking to Jack Bauer about H. H. Masterman.

Clary suggests that Coleridge never finished the poem that the line is from.
