San Jose is a city in Northern California. Teri Bauer's sister Carol lived there during Day 2. Jack Bauer pleaded with his daughter Kim to flee Los Angeles for Aunt Carol's, because San Jose was a safe distance from the nuclear threat in LA during that day.
