Santa Monica is a city near Los Angeles. It was the birthplace of Jack Bauer. It was also the location of the Santa Monica Gallery and the Santa Monica Pier.

During Day 6, Jack Bauer and Dmitri Gredenko arranged to meet Abu Fayed in the Santa Monica Pier. CTU used this opportunity to capture Fayed.
