Saugus was a community in the city of Santa Clarita, California. It was within Los Angeles County, and was under the jurisdiction of the LA branch of the Counter Terrorist Unit.

The community of Saugus included an area of open space near power grid section 26-GG, which was reserved for a wildlife preserve, but was also the location of a top secret Class Three Detention Facility holding Victor Drazen. Senator David Palmer was given a document containing a lead ("21911 Kipling") from a source in the Pentagon, and Jack Bauer discovered that this was Victor Drazen's next destination.
