Scott Carlton Roe (born July 12, 1970; age 53) played Philman, a U.S. Army Ranger during The Raid, the prequel to 24: Legacy.

Biography and career[]

Scott Roe was born in Lemoore, California, but raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He attended St. Thomas of Aquinas where he was part of the wrestling and swimming team. After high school, he attended Florida State University.

Roe worked as a real estate appraiser, but decided to continue a Master's degree in Business from Nova University. After that, he enlisted in the Navy and passed the Navy SEAL training.

Since 2006, Roe has been working in Hollywood, appearing in TV shows like Dollhouse (with Reed Diamond) and NCIS (with Pauley Perrette). He has also appeared in films like Transformers: Dark of the Moon, J. Edgar, and Camp Concussion (with Brett R. Miller).
