Scott Wilder is a stunt performer and actor who played one of Anton Beresch's separatists in Season 5 of 24.

Biography and career Edit

Scott Wilder is the son of legendary stunt performer Glenn R. Wilder. He started working in the stunt business at young age, performing stunts for Disney films when he was 9 years old. He continued to work as a stunt throughout his youth, even doubling for Tom Hanks on The Money Pit. By the age of 18, Wilder managed to buy a hillside home where he still lives.

Other films where Wilder has worked are Lethal Weapon 2, Point Break, Speed, Se7en, Taken 3, and Furious 7. Aside of Tom Hanks, he has doubled for stars like Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise, David Caruso, and Greg Kinnear, among many others. Wilder has also worked on TV shows like Westworld, Dexter, and Heroes.

Wilder met his wife, Janet, while working on a movie set. The couple married in 1992. In 1995, during filming of a stunt for the comedy film Gone Fishin', a boat accidentally struck a group of extras and stunt performers. Janet died in the accident, and Scott and his father were injured.[1]

Role on 24 Edit

Wilder played one of Anton Beresch's separatists in Season 5 of 24. He appeared in "Day 5: 10:00am-11:00am". Wilder's character waited to ambush the CTU troops at Ontario Airport before getting shot in their surprise attack. Its possible that Wilder was filling in for an extra that appeared in the previous two episodes, since they have similar physical features and are wearing the same clothes.
