24: Season Four was released on DVD in the United States and Canada on December 6, 2005. It contains all 24 episodes from Season 4, audio commentary on selected episodes, deleted scenes, and several hours of bonus features on the seventh disc. All episodes are presented in Anamorphic Widescreen (1.78:1). The set was rereleased on May 22, 2007 in a slimpak edition.
This collection's new style of packaging is comprised of 4 slim DVD cases, each holding two discs , with the fourth case holding disc 7, as opposed to the foldout casing seen in previous DVD releases. The cases' pictures are as follows:
- Case 1 (Discs 1 and 2) - Jack Bauer
- Case 2 (Discs 3 and 4) - Dina Araz
- Case 3 (Discs 5 and 6) - Tony Almeida
- Case 4 (Disc 7) - Chloe O'Brian
