Sigur Rós is an Icelandic post-rock band from Reykjavík, who have been active since 1994. The band's current lineup includes Jón Þór "Jónsi" Birgisson (lead vocals, guitars, keyboards), Georg "Goggi" Hólm (bass guitar, vocals), and Orri Páll Dýrason (drums, keyboards). Known for their ethereal sound, frontman Birgisson's falsetto vocals, and the use of bowed guitar, the band's music is also noticeable for its incorporation of classical and minimalist aesthetic elements.

"Ný batterí," the second single from Sigur Rós' sophomore album Ágætis byrjun (2000), is featured in "Day 1: 6:00pm-7:00pm". The song plays during the scene in which Frank Allard learns about his brother Dan's death.
