Shavers flew Jack Bauer, Christopher Henderson, and Agent McCullough to secure the Russian submarine, the Natalia, from Vladimir Bierko and his last remaining Dawn Brigade terrorists.

Together with Jack Bauer, he followed Darren McCarthy, who had taken Morris O'Brian hostage, around the highways, and landed on top of two tractor trailers to let Jack out beneath an underpass. At 4:17, he flew Jack from an area near Grandmont Hotel to the horse ranch where former president Charles Logan was under house arrest. He then took Logan to the rest home of Martha Logan via helicopter. Later, his helicopter was commandeered by Jack Bauer and Bill Buchanan for their assault on the BXJ oil platform during the final hour of Day 6.
