Stephen Hopkins was a director and co-executive producer of 24 during Season 1. His work on the pilot episode led to the visual style 24 is well known for, and for which he was nominated for a Director's Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directional Achievement in a Dramatic Series, as well as 2 Emmy Awards for Best Direction of a Drama Series and Outstanding Drama Series during the first season of 24. He is currently directing and executive producing a new television series starring David Duchovny.
