Sterling Macer, Jr. (born November 28, 1963; age 60) played Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Officer Raynes in Season 2 of 24.
Biography and career
Sterling Macer, Jr. was born in Springfield, Missouri, where he grew up. He graduated from Kickapoo High School in 1982, along with Brad Pitt.
In 1989, Macer began his professional acting career appearing in the film Night Terror. Shortly after, he was cast in recurring roles on the shows Homefront and Harts of the West (with Stephen Root). He has also guest-starred in shows like Lincoln Heights (with Alex Carter), NCIS (with Pauley Perrette), and NYPD Blue (with Ricky Schroder, Esai Morales, and Kevin Dillon).
Macer has also appeared in films like Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (with Eric Bruskotter), Wicked, and Double Take.
Macer is married to producer's assistant Monica Macer.
