Sterling Ian Rush (born March 19) was the on-set prop master for 24. He has been with the show since Season 1. He also had two brief cameo appearances during Season 1 and Season 8.

Biography and career Edit

Sterling Rush started his professional career in 2000, working with props for films like The Patriot and Vanilla Sky (2001). After that, he has worked as property master on shows like Touch (starring Kiefer Sutherland), Homeland and Legends (both developed by Howard Gordon). Since 2017, Rush has been working as assistant property master for the show Lethal Weapon.

Aside of his acting appearances on 24, his only other acting role was on the film Tennis, Anyone...?.

Role on 24 Edit

Sterling Rush was the on-set prop master for 24. He worked with the show from Season 1 to Season 8.

Aside of his role as prop master, Sterling had 2 brief cameo appearances on the show: as CTU LA agent Jay in "Day 1: 5:00pm-6:00pm", and as CTU NY Agent Greer in "Day 8: 10:00am-11:00am". These portrayals give him the record for the most episodes passing between a performer's appearances.

Additionally, two background characters have appeared with Sterling's name, although these were played by other actors. In the premiere of Season 5, a minor character appeared who was named after Rush, employed at the oil rig where "Frank Flynn" worked. Another character by this name appeared in "Day 8: 4:00pm-5:00pm".
