Stun Guns and Tasers

Stun gun technology is a non-lethal way for police to incapacitate violent criminals. Small and powered by store-bought batteries, they deliver a series of millisecond-long shocks. Taser guns work the same basic way as ordinary stun guns, except that charged electrodes are launched through the air with wires trailing behind.

• During Day 1 7:00pm-8:00pm Jack was wondering around a vacant sanctuary ground and found a stairwell that led to a locked door of a facility. Suddenly a group of guards opened the door and shoot Jack with a taser immobilizing him. They then dragged him inside.

• During Day 1 8:00am-9:00am, sometime between 8:50 and 9:00, Nina Myers shocked Jamey Farrell with a stun gun, then used fragments of a coffee mug to slit her wrists and kill her, preventing her from blowing Nina's cover. Later in the day, Jack Bauer obtained a video of this event from archive manager Paul Wilson and used it to prove to George Mason that Nina was a mole.

• During Day 2 2:00am-3:00am, Jack left the urgent care center, pursued by Kingsley's men. As he runs around a car, Ronnie Stark, the man inside, shoots him with a taser. Later, as Stark interrogates Bauer, Stark pulls out a stun gun and uses it on Jack, causing his heart to stop.

• During "Kim Goes Back In", Kim Bauer used a stun gun to stun guards on her way from the M3 panic room to the Data Room.

• During "Chase Infiltrates the Tech Lab", Chase Edmunds used a stun gun to stun guards inside a research facility.

• During "Through the Agency", Jack Bauer used a stun gun to stun guards inside the agency's Los Angeles branch to upload decryption software to terrorist Peter Madsen because he is holding Kim hostage.

• During Day 5 4:00pm-5:00pm, Christopher Henderson tasers Jack Bauer as Jack enters his office at Omicron International.

• During Day 5 9:00pm-10:00pm, Rick Burke tasers Jack Bauer who is trying to take Audrey Raines out of CTU.

• During Day 5 2:00am-3:00am, Chloe O'Brian uses a taser twice to knock out Ross who was pestering her in a hotel bar, while she was working with Jack.

• During Day 5 6:00am-7:00am, Jack Bauer tasers Charles Logan's Secret Service escorts and later the pilot aboard Marine One so he can speak to Logan face to face.
