How can we be certain already that Anatoly Markov has actually been killed? The last we saw of him, he just fell down after being shot. He could still be alive, especially considering abducting him for interrogation purposes was the primary objective of the assault on the Russian Consulate to begin with. I think he's dead. CTU has killed a lot of people they needed to interrogate in the past, and since Jack already knows how to find Gredenko, Morkov is of little importance. --Vinny2 19:00, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Those agents got to Markov before Doyle's squad stumbled upon Jack in the basement, though. The assumption Markov would be their best lead would still have been hanging over the mission at the time.

In any case, the contents of these articles are meant to be based on verifiable fact, not our own individual assumptions and speculation, no? I feel the character's status should be left as "Unknown" for the time being. --Grant Dempsey 19:31, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
