Once we know what the first seven episodes are all about (a massive Jack Bauer ploy to get under with the Salazars again)... none of this episode makes sense. Who shot Tony? Why do they shoot him? Hector knew, as did his men that Kyle Singer didn't really have the virus - so why so much effort to acquire him? All in an effort to make it *look* like he was important? 1st half of day three doesn't make a lot of sense - and neither do a lot of Gael's actions.--JPizzle1122 04:29, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, Season 3 makes very little sense upon rewatching, which is why it's my least favorite season. I was appalled to learn that the entire first half of the season was completly irrelevant to the main plot and was nothing but Amador trying to make a few extra bucks.

- As long as people are talking about, I'll give my theory. Maybe Jack and Hector had been contact with each other recently and since it was obvious what the virus was, it was obvious CTU would try to look for it so they made an intricately made false trail that led to Kyle Singer.
