Talk:Day 4 11:00am-12:00pm
From Wiki 24
So, in this episode we've got a guy credited as "CHP Officer" and another guy credited as "CHP Officer's Partner" or something like that. However, in their scene, you can see their name tags. I assume we'd like to include their names, but it's probably also a good idea to include the way they're actually credited. Oh, yeah. Also the "CTU Doctor" gets both names named. How would we like to do this? --StBacchus 09:43, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
- The article name should be the visible/audible name of the character, of course. The "credited name" is information that can go on the actor's page (in addition to the name of the character), but I don't think it's really needed on the character's page. --Proudhug 11:04, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
- I mean on the episode pages, but okay. Karen Pendleton, Dr. Mark Kaylis, and Officer Pantell (I think) were not credited at the end of the episode, so they don't actually have credited names. However, Officer Goodwin was credited as "CHP Officer's Partner," so I made that the link title while the link goes to the actual page, titled Goodwin. Hopefully that will be clear. I think the episode pages should have the credits exactly as they are in the episode, even if they aren't accurate. --StBacchus 07:48, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
- Oops, I'm sorry. I didn't realize that's what you meant. I think the character should be listed by their article name (as the non-credited characters are), but include a parenthetical note about how they were credited if people feel it's necessary. Either that or reverse the two. I definitely think it's more important to include the character's full name on the page. I don't care if we include the credited name or not, but if others find it important then let's include it. Listing Erica Vasquez as "Erica Farrell" seems pretty silly to me. It's something to include in the trivia/notes section, not the list of characters. --Proudhug 01:02, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
