Teddy Hanlin was a sniper working for the Counter Terrorist Unit during Day 1.
Hanlin held a grudge against Jack Bauer after Bauer arrested his partner, Seth Campbell, for taking bribes. Hanlin never forgave Jack for this. During an operation to capture a suspect, Hanlin taunted Jack by telling him of how Campbell's wife killed herself. Trying to slow the suspect down, Hanlin shot Alan Morgan in the leg, making him fall to his death over a banister.
