Tim Guinee (born November 18, 1962; age 61) played Ken Dellao during Day 7 of 24.

Biography and career

Tim Guinee was born in Los Angeles, California, but raised in in Illinois and Texas. He attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas before he founded a theater group in Texas. Later he moved to New York in order to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. After that, he attended the North Carolina School of Arts in Winston-Salem, where he graduated and had his film debut.

Guinee has appeared in numerous TV shows like The Equalizer, Law & Order (with Penny Balfour), Karen Sisco (with Jose Zuniga), Tarzan (with Leighton Meester), NCIS (with Pauley Perrette), Numb3rs (with Peter MacNicol), Covert Affairs (with Rena Sofer), Castle (with Stana Katic and Penny Johnson Jerald), Fringe (with John Noble), and Revolution (with Billy Burke).

Guinee is also one of many 24 alumni that has appeared in Homeland, another show developed by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa. Guinee had a recurring role during the third season, and during that time he worked with other 24 actors like Nazanin Boniadi, Donnie Keshawarz, Hrach Titizian, and Diego Klattenhoff.

Aside of television, Guinee has also starred in films like Heaven & Earth, Courage Under Fire (with Lou Diamond Phillips, Zeljko Ivanek, and Sean Astin), Vampires, Blade, Ladder 49 (with Kevin Chapman), and Synecdoche, New York. He also played Major Allen in both Iron Man and Iron Man 2. These films also featured actors like Faran Tahir and Bill Smitrovich.
