Tomas was on the plane that transported Ramon Salazar and Jack Bauer from Los Angeles to Las Nieves. When Ramon wanted to kill Jack before and during the flight, Tomas stepped in and stopped him, saying that Ramon's brother, Hector Salazar, wanted Jack alive. Tomas calmed Ramon down and brought him alcohol and Sandra to appease him.
