Tommy Flanagan played Gabriel Schector during Season 7 of 24. He is perhaps best known for his scarred face which was a result of being attacked by thugs in his native Scotland. In 2008, he had a recurring role as Filip Telford on Sons of Anarchy.

Flanagan is a close friend of fellow 24 alumnus Robert Carlyle, who recommended him to try acting. They also worked together in the 1999 film Plunkett & Macleane. He also starred in The Saint with Rade Šerbedžija, Face/Off with Colm Feore, Sunset Strip with Rory Cochrane, Attila with Powers Boothe, Gladiator with Tomas Arana, and Sin City with Jude Ciccolella, Michael Madsen and Boothe.
