Biography and career Edit

Tony Pérez was born José Anthony Pérez in Portsmouth, Virginia, but grew up between San Diego, Virginia and the Manhattan West Side. He is of Puerto Rican and Filipino descent. Pérez' father served with the United States Navy during World War II.

Pérez started his acting career in 1963, appearing in General Hospital. After that, he has appeared in other TV shows like MacGyver, ER (with Eriq La Salle), NYPD Blue (with Jimmy Smits and Lourdes Benedicto), and CSI: Miami (with Rory Cochrane). From 2011 to 2017, Pérez had a recurring role as Prince Henry in Once Upon a Time (with Lana Parrilla and Robert Carlyle).

Aside of TV shows, Pérez has also appeared in films like Scarface (with Harris Yulin), Alien Nation (with Jeff Kober), Hard to Kill, Blow (with Miguel Perez), Delta Farce (with Glenn Morshower), and Close Range (with Nick Chinlund).

Pérez is also a painter and poet. He has been married to Marie Gagne since 1961. They have a daughter together.
