Day 2 Edit

The recently-sworn-in President James Prescott ordered military action against three Middle Eastern countries implicated in the attempted nuclear strike on Los Angeles. US bombers were observed in Turkish airspace so the Prime Minister of Turkey tried to contact Prescott for details. Prescott, unwilling to alarm the world about the shift in power, had ousted president David Palmer masquerade as president of the United States and succeeded in obtaining overflight rights.

The terrorist cell of Habib Marwan had its roots in Turkey.
