Ty Upshaw

Biography and career

Ty Upshaw grew up in Phenix City, Alabama. He attended Central High School in the same state, and then Concord Career College, where he studied Science of Respiratory Care. In 1996, Upshaw studied Theatre at William Esper Studio. His teacher was Maggie Flannigan.

Since 1995, Upshaw has appeared in numerous TV shows. Some of the ones in which he has appeared are Diary, The X-Files (with Noel Gugliemi), NCIS (with Pauley Perrette and Rizwan Manji), Castle (with Stana Katic and Dean Norris), Training Day (with Katrina Law), and a recurring role as a police officer on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

In 2012, Upshaw had a small role on the film The Amazing Spider-Man. The film also featured appearances by C. Thomas Howell, Kevin McCorkle, Danielle Burgio, Vincent Laresca, and Michael Massee.
