Tzi Ma played Cheng Zhi, the head of security at the Chinese Consulate, as well as the thorn in Jack Bauer's side during Day 4, Day 5 and Day 6 on 24.
He has played Chinese government officials on film and televison. In Rush Hour and Rush Hour 3 he played a Los Angeles based Consul and a Chinese Ambassador in Commander in Chief.
Ma starred in the TV show "Yellowthread Street" and had a recurring role on "City of Angels", "NYPD Blue", and "Martial Law". He has had guest roles in several other TV series, including: "The Practice", "The Bernie Mac Show", "Chicago Hope", "Jake 2.0", "ER", "Law & Order", and "Boomtown". His numerous feature films include: The Ladykillers, Dante's Peak, and Alpha Dog with Lukas Haas.
