The engineer of a commuter train bound for Los Angeles spotted a truck parked on the tracks in the Santa Clarita valley. He applied the brakes, but the train collided with the truck, which exploded violently. He was one of the 32 confirmed deaths at the scene.
- The train engineer was played by Will Badgett in "Day 4 7:00am-8:00am".

Jack Bauer, posing as an armed robber, held up a gas station convenience store and took several hostages, among them a female shopper. Others included Doug the owner, Kalil Hasan (Jack's target—a terrorist), a man named Brett, and later a police officer named Bill Dodson. The woman was close to Brett, and was left locked with him, Doug, and the officer when Jack left the store with Kalil.
- The store customer was played by Tina Holmes in "Day 4 10:00am-11:00am".

Jack Bauer, posing as an armed robber, held up a gas station convenience store in a strategic move to occupy a terrorist. A woman arrived to purchase a pack of cigarettes, so Jack, to avoid any more civilian involvement, turned her away at the door for fabricated reasons.
- The woman at the convenience store was played by Heather Long in "Day 4 10:00am-11:00am".

President John Keeler was going over some paperwork with an assistant, when a chief aide, Robert Franklin, interrupted them to inform the President about updates concerning the abduction of Secretary of Defense James Heller.
- Keeler's assistant was played by Dana Walters in "Day 4 11:00am-12:00pm".
[edit] Helicopter pilot
Terrorist collaborator Henry Powell hired a chopper pilot to fly him out of Los Angeles. When the flight was discovered and grounded by the Department of Defense, the pilot informed his client. Henry then held the pilot at gunpoint, but before they could take off, Jack Bauer and Tony Almeida entered and arrested him. The pilot was present when a sniper silenced Powell, and stayed there with the authorities for a time afterward.
- The helicopter pilot was played by Vince Duvall in "Day 4 2:00pm-3:00pm" and "Day 4 3:00pm-4:00pm".
[edit] Farah's lover
When terrorist Navi Araz was searching for his wife Dina and son Behrooz to kill them, he looked at the home of family friend Farah. Farah acted suspiciously upon answering the door, and Navi assumed it was because she was hiding Dina and Behrooz. She was only trying to hide an affair, however, and her lover appeared and demanded that Navi leave. Navi threatened him with his pistol when the man became physical, but then departed to continue his search.
- Farah's lover was played by Chris Eckles in "Day 4 3:00pm-4:00pm".
[edit] Rescue worker in AF1
After Air Force One was forced to crash land by Mitch Anderson, the nearest police and rescue teams were dispatched to the Mojave Desert to save those who survived the crash, and especially to check if President John Keeler survived. The rescue worker and the others with him found several bodies, including the President's son Kevin. When they came upon the President, they reported that he was badly injured, but was in fact alive. Bill Buchanan and the others at CTU Los Angeles watched the live footage from the rescue workers' cameras.
- The rescue worker was played by Dan Lundy in "Day 4 11:00pm-12:00am".

An aide interrupted a meeting between President Charles Logan, Mike Novick, and Walt Cummings to tell Novick that Bill Buchanan from CTU Los Angeles had called twice with an important message. Novick left and heard from Bill that Jack Bauer had illegally tortured a suspect in order to extract information regarding the whereabouts of Habib Marwan.
- The presidential aide was played by Stacy Solodkin in "Day 4 1:00am-2:00am".

[edit] Driver agent
When Marianne Taylor was revealed to be a corporate spy at CTU, she agreed to access the files of her deceased contact, Henry Powell, in an effort to decrease her sentence. A field agent drove her, Curtis Manning, and another agent to the Rockland Building where Powell's computer was located. Before she could access the evidence, three of Powell's accomplices (Forbes, Adam, and Jason) entered, killed the driver, the other agent, and Marianne, and captured Curtis. According to Forbes, the three bodies were placed in a van afterward.
- The driver was played by Andrew Putney in "Day 5 4:00pm-5:00pm".
[edit] Helicopter pilot
A CTU Los Angeles chopper pilot flew Jack Bauer and a second field agent into the Mojave Desert so they could retrieve the nuclear football from campers Jason and Kelly Girard. (The football fell down as debris from Air Force One, which had been damaged by Mitch Anderson in a stolen stealth bomber.) The pilot confirmed that the signal from the football briefcase was reading properly, and at 11:35, he dropped off Jack and the agent. Later, Jack called him to assist in bringing down an escaping Jeep driven by Steve Simmons, a terrorist who had the football. The pilot dropped low, shined his light in the driver's eyes, and caused the Jeep to crash. He then used the light to help Jack find the case, and flew away to track the other Jeep when ordered to. Shortly after midnight, when Jack was done working with Fred Laughton, the pilot returned Jack to the CTU Los Angeles building.
- The pilot was played by Michael P. Lugar in "Day 4 11:00pm-12:00am" and "12:00am-1:00am".

[edit] Logan's Press Secretary
After the final terrorist attack of Habib Marwan was foiled, a number of foreign heads of state congratulated President Charles Logan at the close of Day 4 for leading the country so effectively. His Press Secretary informed him that a Prime Minister who was planning to meet him in London wished to speak to him personally. President Logan basked in the Press Secretary's praise and in all of the attention, even though he was panicked and displayed poor leadership throughout the crises. When David Palmer entered the room and asked to speak to Logan alone, the Press Secretary hesitated but departed with the others.
- The Press Secretary was played by Joseph Hacker in "Day 4 6:00am-7:00am".
- Joseph Hacker also played a Cabinet member in "Day 6 9:00pm-10:00pm".

[edit] Audrey's medic
After Secretary of Defense James Heller and Audrey Raines were rescued from terrorist kidnappers by Jack Bauer and the Marines, a medic working with CTU saw to Audrey. When Jack asked about Audrey's condition, the medic expressed some concern about Audrey's contusions and dehydration.
- The medic was played by Taneka Johnson in "Day 4 12:00pm-1:00pm."

[edit] Air Force mechanic
An Air Force mechanic who was servicing a F-117 stealth aircraft detected a faulty strut pin. Before he could report the problem to the chief mechanic, he was questioned by Mitch Anderson, who had infiltrated the base while posing as the plane's pilot John Hansen. The mechanic informed Mitch that the rear assembly would disintegrate upon landing, so the plane must be grounded until the replacement part could arrive. After the mechanic was excused by Anderson to go report the problem, Anderson shot him with a sound-suppressed pistol and hid the body. Mitch, who never intended on landing the plane after his planned attack on Air Force One, then lied to the chief mechanic and was cleared for take-off.
- The mechanic was played by Bryce Lenon in "Day 4 9:00pm-10:00pm."

[edit] KRLH crash reporter
During the first hour of Day 4, a field reporter from the KRLH network gave a live report of the train wreck in the Santa Clarita valley. The report was viewed by Navi Araz, his wife, and his son, who were all involved in the terrorist activity.
- This reporter was played by Michelle C. Bonilla (credited as Michele) in "Day 4 7:00am-8:00am".
[edit] FOX kidnap reporter
A FOX field reporter gave a live report of the terrorist kidapping of Secretary of Defense James Heller, mentioning that at least five Secret Service agents were in the attack. He appeared a few hours later and delivered news that the Secretary and Audrey were safe, and as many as twenty terrorists were killed during his rescue. This report was viewed by Navi Araz.
- This reporter was played by Mark Thompson in "Day 4 8:00am-9:00am" and "Day 4 1:00pm-2:00pm".

A FOX news reader announced that Secretary of Defense James Heller was saved from the hands of homicidal terrorists by a CTU / Marines joint rescue operation.
- This reporter was played by John Beard in "Day 4 12:00pm-1:00pm."
[edit] FOX meltdown reporter
A FOX news reader revealed to the public that the nuclear power plant on San Gabriel Island was in full meltdown. She also noted that emergency personnel were on site to rescue the workers exposed to the radiation. One of her reports was watched by Joseph Fayed, who was pleased with the destruction caused by his comrades.

[edit] Lindauer Hospital guard
The security at Lindauer Memorial Hospital responded to the killing of a pharmacist there and the kidnapping of a young boy (all perpetrated by terrorist Navi Araz). One of the guards brought Jack Bauer up to speed on these developments; Jack then sent him to ensure that no one threatened Navi.
- The guard was played by James Calvert in "Day 4 3:00pm-4:00pm".

[edit] Omar henchman
A terrorist working for Omar guarded the gate of the compound where Secretary of Defense James Heller was being held hostage. When Behrooz Araz arrived, the henchman received from him the Dobson Override device, which had been stolen by Dar earlier in the morning, and brought it to Omar. Before entering the compound, the guard observed Debbie Pendleton in the vicinity, and reported this to his superiors as a possible security breach. Debbie was later killed. The henchman was slain in the raid when Heller was rescued.
- Omar's henchman was played by Peter Macdissi in "Day 4 8:00am-9:00am."
[edit] Morrison hitman
Robert Morrison, hired by Habib Marwan to launch a stolen nuclear warhead from Iowa, found out that one of the terrorists working for him, Sabir Ardakani, had a girlfriend, Nabilla Al-Jamil, who was likely to contact the authorities. Morrison sent a hitman to kill Nabilla and reported this to Marwan. The hitman arrived at Nabilla's house at 1482 Franklin, Los Feliz, and found that there were CTU agents there. He killed the two field agents, Bergen and White, and pursued Nabilla who was with Chloe O'Brian. When the two women fled to the CTU car, the hitman used his pistol and a shotgun but failed since the vehicle was bulletproof. He rammed them several times with his own car, and stopped to murder a confused homeowner who appeared. The hitman was killed by Chloe when she accessed an assault rifle and riddled him with bullets.
- Morrison's hitman appeared in "Day 4 1:00am-2:00am."
[edit] Marwan pilot
Habib Marwan and his chopper pilot prepared to flee Los Angeles from the roof of the Global Centre because their stolen nuclear weapon was headed for the city. Mandy, one of Marwan's mercenaries, divulged his location to the authorities in exchange for a presidential pardon. When Marwan suspected that something was wrong, his pilot reminded him that Mandy claimed she would be late. They were about to fly away to reach their ship, when Jack Bauer, Curtis Manning, and a third agent arrived in a chopper, and prevented them from taking off. Jack shot out the terrorists' engine, and the agents pursued the two men on foot on the roof. The pilot was killed by Jack as he tried to shoot back and escape from the roof.
- Marwan's pilot was played by Sunil Malhotra in "Day 4 6:00am-7:00am."
