[edit] Floor manager
President Wayne Palmer negotiated with former terrorist leader Hamri Al-Assad for help in appealing to extremist Muslims. Hamri was scheduled to make a live speech from the Presidential Emergency Operations Center to try to generate support against Abu Fayed. The floor manager for the press release briefly spoke with Hamri, and gave him a countdown before the filming would begin. Before he could finish, a bomb planted by Reed Pollock exploded, killing Hamri and Agent Dan, injuring the President, and possibly the floor manager as well.
- The floor manager was played by 24 crew member Richard Rosser in "Day 6 4:00pm-5:00pm".
[edit] CTU agents
[edit] SWAT agent
A CTU Los Angeles SWAT team surrounded 4332 Florence Avenue in an effort to capture Abu Fayed, a terrorist ringleader with access to 4 stolen suitcase nukes at the time. When Jack Bauer arrived at the perimeter, he asked to speak with the agent in charge, and one SWAT agent pointed out Hal Turner. During the subsequent raid, Fayed escaped but one suitcase nuke was disarmed and all of the other sub-cell terrorists were killed.
- The SWAT agent was played by Brian Silverman in "Day 6 1:00pm-2:00pm".
[edit] Government officials
[edit] Ambassador
This man was the ambassador of an unspecified Middle Eastern country to the United States as of Day 6.
The ambassador first appeared in the Oval Office, when he briefed President Wayne Palmer and his advisors Tom Lennox and Karen Hayes on the influence and intentions of Hamri Al-Assad. He explained that many terrorist groups would indeed go along with Assad if he decided to pursue a peaceful course of action.
He reappeared in the White House bunker, where he expressed dismay over the nuclear attack in Los Angeles. He met with Palmer and Assad, and he debated the merits of Assad's previous terrorist actions. Assad left, and Palmer explained to the ambassador that he planned to hold a press conference in conjunction with Assad. Palmer said that he wanted a letter of support from the ambassador's country's Prime Minister. Palmer also threatened a military action against the ambassador's country.
He later returned to the bunker, and met with Vice President Noah Daniels. He expressed anger over the attempt on the life of President Palmer, and asked how he was doing following the attack. Daniels accused Assad of carrying out the attack, though this was not true, saying that his real intentions had always been to kill Palmer. Tom Lennox lied, saying that he had seen Assad with the detonator. Daniels threatened the ambassador with an invasion, demanding every ounce of information that the ambassador's government had, saying that he would invade if they did not find the remaining nuclear weapons.
- The Ambassador was played by Ajay Mehta in "Day 6 9:00am-10:00am, Day 6 4:00pm-5:00pm, Day 6 6:00pm-7:00pm, Day 6 10:00pm-11:00pm".
[edit] Memorable quotes
- Wayne Palmer: I believe you know Hamri Al-Assad.
- Hamri Al-Assad: Mister Ambassador.
- Ambassador: (to Palmer) I have never met Mister Assad in person, but I know him by reputation. His organisation has carried out repeated terrorist actions against my country.
- Hamri Al-Assad: Your own policies precipitated those actions.
- Ambassador: That's your justification for killing innocent people?
- Hamri Al-Assad: You and I define innocent in different ways.
- Ambassador: My own deputy lost his seven-year-old son in one of your bombings. That is how I define innocent.
- Wayne Palmer: This is President Palmer
- Ambassador: Mister President, my government has alerted me of the nuclear weapon heading toward my country.
- Wayne Palmer: That's correct, Mister Ambassador, we've made good on our threat.
- Ambassador: For God's sake, I implore you to stop it!
[edit] Cabinet Secretary 1
The Cabinet of President Wayne Palmer was summoned to participate in a 25th Amendment proceeding when Vice President Noah Daniels challenged the Presidency of Wayne Palmer. Daniels cited Palmer's health and behavior as reasons for removing him from office, and a Cabinet vote was required. This Cabinet Secretary was present in person at the Presidential Emergency Operations Center in Washington, DC. Before hearing any testimonies, she expressed concern to Tom Lennox that the President's ability to perform his duties was more of a medical concern. Lennox replied that the Constitution's 25th Amendment placed the decision squarely in the hands of the Cabinet. She wished to hear medical testimony, so Lennox introduced Arthur Welton, President Palmer's doctor. She questioned Welton, and even asked what his vote would be if he were a Cabinet member. Lennox interrupted Welton before he could answer. When the votes were taken, she was part of the group of seven who did not raise their hands in favor of the President.
- This Cabinet member was played by Brenda Wehle in "Day 6 9:00pm-10:00pm".
[edit] Cabinet Secretary 2
The Cabinet of President Wayne Palmer was summoned to participate in a 25th Amendment proceeding when Vice President Noah Daniels challenged the Presidency of Wayne Palmer. Daniels cited Palmer's health and behavior as reasons for removing him from office, and a Cabinet vote was required. This Cabinet Secretary was present in person at the Presidential Emergency Operations Center in Washington, DC. During the testimony of Dr. Welton, this Secretary asked Welton if he could estimate the chances that Wayne might succumb to stress and aggravate his injuries from the attempt on his life. When the votes were taken, he was part of the group of seven who did not raise their hands in favor of the President.
- This Cabinet member was played by Joseph Hacker in "Day 6 9:00pm-10:00pm".

[edit] Medical staff
[edit] Logan's paramedic
Former President Charles Logan was stabbed near the neck by his ex-wife and former First Lady, Martha Logan, during Day 6. As he was rushed to a nearby hospital, Logan spoke Martha's name longingly and began to flatline. The medic in the back of the ambulance attempted chest compressions on Logan, and shouted to the driver that they were losing him. Logan may have died en route to the hospital.
- "Medic #1" was played by James Ellis Lane in "Day 6 6:00pm-7:00pm".
[edit] Dr. Bradley's assistant
A medical assistant was sent to accompany Dr. Bradley from Division to CTU Los Angeles. There, both men spoke with Director Nadia Yassir and then moved on to examine Audrey Raines, who had been interrogated and drugged by Cheng Zhi for a long period of time prior. In the medical clinic, the assistant took note of the injuries on Audrey's body with the doctor. When Dr. Bradley decided to shock Audrey out of her catatonic state, the assistant confirmed at around 1:35am that her vitals were strong enough to proceed. As he prepared her intravenous injection, Jack Bauer entered the room. The assistant attempted to stop Jack, but was knocked flat onto the ground. Jack escaped with Audrey, and after Dr. Bradley pulled an alarm, Nadia, Morris, and Milo observed the clinic exam room video feed where Dr. Bradley tended to his assistant.
- Dr. Bradley's assistant was played by Jayson Victor in "Day 6 1:00am-2:00am."
[edit] Non-CTU government agents
[edit] FBI agent
Bill Buchanan was removed from his position at CTU Los Angeles when it was discovered that, during his time in CTU Seattle, he released a terrorist who proved extremely dangerous (Abu Fayed) from custody. The FBI scoured his home, and Buchanan lost his nerve for a moment when one agent inspected his family photo album. The agent insisted that everything could be searched under their subpoena, and Bill walked off in disgust.
- "FBI Agent #1" was played by Christian Maccio in "Day 6 4:00am-5:00am".
[edit] News reporters
[edit] FOX Valencia anchorman
At 5:29pm, Karen Hayes watched a live FOX news broadcast on her cell phone at the Andrews Air Force Base in Washington, DC. The reporter stated that HAZ-MAT teams and emergency crews continued to search for survivors in Valencia, which suffered a nuclear strike by terrorists. The official death toll at that time was over 12,000. The broadcast was interrupted when Karen got a call from Bill Buchanan on the phone, who told her that Wayne Palmer was the victim of an assassination attempt.
- The news anchor was played by Mark Joyella in "Day 6 5:00pm-6:00pm".
[edit] Secret Service agents
[edit] Bunker security agent
When Reed Pollock signed Bruce Carson into the Presidential Emergency Operations Center, a Secret Service agent inspected Carson's briefcase at roughly 4:10pm. He asked what the purpose was for Carson's visit while he checked to see if Carson's hi-lighter pens and tape recorder worked normally. The agent detected nothing abnormal and sent Carson in. The suitcase, and even the specific items that the agent searched, were all part of a carefully disguised bomb-making kit. Pollock and Carson then proceeded with an assassination attempt on President Wayne Palmer.
- The "Security Station Agent" was played by Eddie Driscoll in "Day 6 4:00pm-5:00pm".
[edit] Security guards
[edit] Day 6 CTU Guard #1
After Bill Buchanan was fired, he informed Nadia Yassir that he had appointed her to be acting Director. While in the Situation Room, CTU Guard #1 entered and told Buchanan that he had been asked to escort him from the premises. Buchanan asked for another minute, and finished saying goodbye to Nadia. The guard then escorted Buchanan from CTU.
At 2:00am, this guard was among those watching over Jack Bauer. When Nadia refused to let Jack accompany Mike Doyle and Field Unit Bravo to Bloomfield, Jack eyed both guards, but Nadia insisted that Jack make no move against them. Later, when the CTU Los Angeles building was invaded by Cheng Zhi's mercenaries, the guard opened Jack's cell when he heard automatic gunfire and couldn't contact anyone else. Jack and the guard spoke briefly, but the guard was killed by shots from one of Zhou Yong's men. Jack used the guard's weapon to kill the attacker, and then moved to other parts of the building, bringing down a number of other mercenaries.
- "CTU Guard #1" was played by Terry Savage in "Day 6 12:00am-1:00am" and "Day 6 2:00am-3:00am" (second appearance credited as "CTU Guard #4").
[edit] Terrorists
[edit] Sergeant

- The sergeant was played by James Parks in "Day 6 8:00am-9:00am".
[edit] Cheng's Operative
This operative was the right-hand man of Cheng Zhi. When Cheng uploaded data from the stolen FB subcircuit board, the operative performed an analysis and determined that it would need much repair work in order for it to be useful. When Zhou Yong and his mercenaries prepared for an assault on CTU Los Angeles, the operative expressed his concern to Cheng regarding this mission. He later hacked into the security system of the CTU Los Angeles building with codes given by Phillip Bauer, and disabled their surveillance cameras, allowing Zhou Yong and his men to infiltrate CTU. Once Josh Bauer was captured, the group attempted to leave, but was stopped by Jack Bauer, Mike Doyle, and Field Unit Bravo. A gunfight ensued between CTU and Cheng's men. Jack slid across the ground and killed this operative at 3:16am during the effort to capture Cheng, retrieve the subcircuit board, and save Josh.
- The operative was played by Kenneth Choi in "Day 6 1:00am-2:00am", "Day 6 2:00am-3:00am", and "Day 6 3:00am-4:00am".
[edit] Zhou's Henchman
This mercenary went with Zhou Yong and Cheng Zhi's other operatives to raid CTU in order to capture Josh Bauer. He placed the explosive charges that gave the terrorists access to the CTU Los Angeles building. Immediately following the raid, after Jack killed a number of the mercenaries, the henchman cornered Jack and Marilyn Bauer in a ventilation room. He reported to Zhou that Josh Bauer, the objective, was hiding in the air ducts. When Zhou threatened Josh's mother over the loudspeaker, Josh presented himself to the henchman, who brought him to Zhou and then later escorted him to Cheng. On the rooftop, this was the last man killed before Cheng escaped at Bloomfield.
- "Zhou's Team Member #1" was played by Ron Yuan in "Day 6 2:00am-3:00am" and "Day 6 3:00am-4:00am".
