I'm Simon, been a big fan of 24 since 2004 when I saw Season Four (about Episode 3/4 - Sky One was having a marathon: I watched 6 episode in one night!). I usually go by the internet name of "RetiredZimon", so if you see that anywhere, it's me! I just decided a change for Wikipeida.
I am a UK viewer of 24. I live in Barnsley, in South Yorkshire. I have loads of 24 merchandise: all the DVDs, the "Ultimate Guide", all the magazines, the game, the DVD game, the novels, the soundtracks and the 2008 calendar!!
My biggest claim to 24 fame is getting an interview with Louis Lombardi, who played Edgar Stiles during Day 4 and 5 of the show. To read the interview, see the link at the bottom of the page.
I enjoy making 24 fan art, and I am quite skilled at using Adobe Photoshop and Corel Paint Shop Pro. I have made many things ranging from avatars and background to signatures and random collages. I have recevied praise for my work on 24 fan art from several sources, including praise from the website Satellitetvtalk.info.
As of July 16th 2008 (conincedently, the day before my birthday), I am an administrator on this Wiki. If you have any issues I am online at least once every day - feel free to leave a message on my talk page.

I seem to have taken the role here of upholding the offical magazine's page, as I recently restructured the whole page to include more information and the cover of each magazine. I have also begun to make pages for each individual magazine. I added all the images to the Day Zero and The Rookie page. I also expanded the latter to make it much more in depth. I recently reworked 24: Nightfall to include much more information on each issue of the comic.
As all of those pages are currently up to date, I have begun to work on upholding the special features page, expanding the deleted scenes page and attempting to reduce the size of the Episode guides requiring images category.

I wrote a short story about Jack and his heroin addiction that can be read here.

I'm currently in the process of writing my first full 24 fan fiction: its set between Days 3-4, starts at 3:00am and involves storylines such as:
- Jack's aftermath of being fired by Erin Driscoll and beating his heroin addiction
- The seperation of Paul and Audrey Raines
- Edgar Stiles starting work at CTU
- Driscoll settling into her job at CTU
- The mystery of what happened to Tom Baker (sorry, he's going to die!)
- Jack getting his job with Secretary Heller
Here is an extact, the opening section to the novel.
| “ | Jonathan sleepily began up the stairs. He had been called by a room at the hotel where he worked. They wanted some food. At 3 a.m.? He wondered why they needed food at such a ridiculous time, but he was glad they had called him; it helped to keep him alert. He was the only person working tonight: the hotel didn’t really need more than one person manning the desks at this time of night. Just as he reached the first flight of stairs, a blonde man with his shirt unbuttoned ran past him. “There’s some guys breaking into a car downstairs, c’mon!” the man yelled. Jonathan was taken aback: nothing this exciting ever happened. He was reasonably well built, and he thought that with the help of the man he was following they could extinguish any break-ins that might be happening.
The two men reached the front of the hotel, Jonathan getting there first. He was more alert than Jack Bauer who had just been sleeping. That was bad news for him. One of the men breaking into the car was keeping watch of the hotel. As soon as he heard the tone of the doors opening, he fired a shot from his pistol. Jonathan was dead instantly. At the sound of the gun, Jack slid round the corner of the hotel. The men had not seen him. He uncovered his gun from his trouser pocket, and spun around the edge of the door, only to find the car half way down the door. He cursed, then cursed louder as he stood in some glass. He glared at his foot; a particularly large piece had wedged himself in it. What a great way to start the day. | ” |
I have finished the first section - you can read it here. I'm currently working on Episode 8, and when Episode 12 is finished the section section will be released.
[edit] Second Wave
I own the 24 fansite Second Wave, which is a site that has episode guides, transcripts, video and sound clips, but the biggest feature of the site is its image gallery. I would say it has the largest 24 image gallery on the net, with over 1,500 promotional images from all seasons and an expanding screencap gallery (I have all of Season 2 and all of Season 4, and some of Season 5. I'm working on doing the rest). If anyone has any images they wish to contribute to my site, please feel free to email me with them at simon [at] second-wave.co.uk. Currently there are over 36,000 images.
There is also a weekly newsletter at Second Wave, in which I post the latest news on 24, along with a page of interesting trivia and tidbits at the end. I occassionaly have special issues, such as one from the "Lights, Camera, Auction!" event, at which I had a special insider. Also, I recently did the 24th issue of the newsletter, which I commemerated by going back over each season and giving a special interview or article about that season.

So as I guess you can tell from all this, I am obsessed with 24. Other TV shows I enjoy are Lost, My Name is Earl, Family Guy and Scrubs. My favourite films are Phone Booth, the Pursuit of Happyness and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgandy.
