I'm Simon, and have been a big fan of 24 since 2004 when I saw Season 4 (about episode 3/4 - Sky One was having a marathon!). I usually go by the internet name of "RetiredZimon", so if you see that anywhere, it's me.
I am a UK viewer of 24. I live in South Yorkshire, England. My biggest claim to 24 fame is meeting Carlos Bernard at the Season 7 Region 2 DVD release party at HMV on Oxford Street, London, on 19 October 2009. What's more, three copies of the Season 1-7 boxset were available to be won upon answering a tough question about the show. Naturally I put my hand up and came home with the 48-disc set, signed by Tony Almeida himself! I also got a photograph with the man.
On top of that, I also got an interview with Louis Lombardi, who played Edgar Stiles during Day 4 and 5 of the show.
I enjoy making 24 fan art, and I am quite skilled at using Adobe Photoshop and Corel Paint Shop Pro. I have made many things ranging from avatars and background to signatures and random collages. I have recevied praise for my work on 24 fan art from several sources, including praise from the website Satellitetvtalk.info.
As of July 16th 2008, I am an administrator on this Wiki. If you have any issues I am online at least once every day - feel free to leave a message on my talk page.
I currently divide my time between this Wiki, My Name is Earl Wiki (where I am also an administrator) and Alias Wiki.

Also, Tobin Bell (Peter Kingsley) was a great actor for the bad guy! | |||

I wrote a short story about Jack and his heroin addiction that can be read here.

I'm currently in the process of writing my first full 24 fan fiction: its set between Days 3-4, starts at 3:00am and involves storylines such as:
- Jack's aftermath of being fired by Erin Driscoll and beating his heroin addiction
- The seperation of Paul and Audrey Raines
- Edgar Stiles starting work at CTU
- Driscoll settling into her job at CTU
- The mystery of what happened to Tom Baker
- Jack getting his job with Secretary Heller
Here is an extact, the opening section to the novel.
| “ | Jonathan sleepily began up the stairs. He had been called by a room at the hotel where he worked. They wanted some food. At 3 a.m.? He wondered why they needed food at such a ridiculous time, but he was glad they had called him; it helped to keep him alert. He was the only person working tonight: the hotel didn’t really need more than one person manning the desks at this time of night. Just as he reached the first flight of stairs, a blonde man with his shirt unbuttoned ran past him. “There’s some guys breaking into a car downstairs, c’mon!” the man yelled. Jonathan was taken aback: nothing this exciting ever happened. He was reasonably well built, and he thought that with the help of the man he was following they could extinguish any break-ins that might be happening.
The two men reached the front of the hotel, Jonathan getting there first. He was more alert than Jack Bauer who had just been sleeping. That was bad news for him. One of the men breaking into the car was keeping watch of the hotel. As soon as he heard the tone of the doors opening, he fired a shot from his pistol. Jonathan was dead instantly. At the sound of the gun, Jack slid round the corner of the hotel. The men had not seen him. He uncovered his gun from his trouser pocket, and spun around the edge of the door, only to find the car half way down the door. He cursed, then cursed louder as he stood in some glass. He glared at his foot; a particularly large piece had wedged himself in it. What a great way to start the day. | ” |

[edit] Second Wave
I own the 24 fansite Second Wave, which is a site that has episode guides, transcripts, video and sound clips, but the biggest feature of the site is its image gallery. The site has the largest 24 image gallery on the net, with over 2,500 promotional images from all seasons, and over 64,000 a screencap gallery. If anyone has any images they wish to contribute to my site, please feel free to email me with them at simon [at] second-wave.co.uk. Currently there are over 88,000 images.
There was also a weekly newsletter at Second Wave, in which I post the latest news on 24, along with a page of interesting trivia and tidbits at the end. I then removed the newsletter and replaced it with a blog to keep viewers updated sooner.
