Van Nuys Airfield is an airport in Los Angeles where Secretary of Defense James Heller redirects his plane to on Day 5 to meet with Jack Bauer and Audrey Raines. This is also the place where Christopher Henderson injures Audrey Raines to force Jack Bauer to return the recording to him.
Bauer is forced to return and climb aboard Flight 520 to regain control of an audio recording.
