Vlad

Vlad was a Dawn Brigade separatist working for Anton Beresch. He participated in the takeover of the Ontario Airport during Day 5.

Day 5

Vlad was part of the group of terrorists that loaded up with guns and drove to Ontario Airport to take it over. During the trip, Vlad was the third man sitting to the left of Anton Beresch.

During the takeover, Vlad struck a civilian who was trying to make for the exits onto the ground with the butt of his assault rifle, then ordered Derek Huxley to get on the ground. Later, Anton Beresch ordered Vlad by name to guard Jack Bauer and Derek on two separate occasions. The first was when Beresch and his lieutenant had to leave to execute the second hostage on camera. The second, at approximately 10:12am, was immediately after Beresch ordered Ivan and Ishmael to guard the hostages while the others departed to set up an ambush for CTU forces; this occurred after Jack was forced to give Curtis Manning false information about a proper entry point.

Due to the work of Lynn McGill, CTU discovered that Jack gave false directions under duress. Vlad was shot to death by Jack during the surprise raid when Curtis Manning's team entered through unexpected locations.
