William Washington is a stunt performer and actor who played one of Benjamin Juma's soldiers in Season 7 of 24.

Biography and career[]

William Washington was born in San Francisco, California. When he was 3 years old, he moved to Los Angeles with his family. At the age of 17, Washington organized a martial arts demonstration team performing across the country. He also practices Hapkido and Kempo.

Since 1988, Washington has been working mostly as a stunt performer and coordinator. He has worked in over 100 films. Washington has also served as a stunt double for actors like Danny Glover, Djimon Hounsou, and Tony Todd.

Washington is also working as a second unit director, director, and producer.

Role on 24[]

Washington played one of Benjamin Juma's soldiers during Season 7 of 24. His character was at 44543 Lambourne Marina with Juma's other soldiers, and wheeled away the ramp from the boat they boarded. He then got on board the boat, and was the first to exit the cabin as they prepared to dive into the Potomac river.

When the team entered the White House, Washington's character shot dead two staffers. He was later present outside the locked panic room, until Juma sent him to find Olivia Taylor. After Udo found her and Aaron Pierce, Washington's character accompanied them back to Juma and the panic room was opened, whereupon Washington escorted the president out.

Later, after Bill Buchanan detonated gas inside the panic room, Washington attempted to fire at Jack Bauer, who hid behind the body of dead soldier before shooting and killing Washington's character.

Washington appeared in a total of 3 episodes, but wasn't credited for his role.
